Embark on a journey to discover the authentic Dominican Republic, away from mass tourism and immersing yourself in a unique local atmosphere in Miches.

The winding road through the mountains will take us to a hidden gem: Playa Esmeralda, one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. Stretching for several kilometers, this beach is lined with lush palm trees and offers stunning views of the mountains and the Samaná Peninsula.

After parking, we will venture on a short walk along the beach until we reach some charming natural pools, surrounded by mountains and palm trees. Here, we can snorkel to explore vibrant corals, a wide variety of fish, starfish, and even lucky sightings of lobsters and rays.

Playa Esmeralda is also a turtle nesting site, so we may see some of these majestic creatures from the shore.

We will enjoy time to swim, sunbathe, walk and, above all, marvel at this spectacular beach. The best of all? You won’t find any sargassum here!

We include snacks, soft drinks and water, although lunch is not included.

Optionally, upon returning, we can visit the Redonda mountain, an elevation of more than 300 meters with 360-degree panoramic views. From here, we will contemplate Samaná Bay, Laguna Redonda, El Limón, Miches, El Seibo and much more. You can even swing high up and feel like you’re flying!
